From its early days as a summer cottage for famed fur trader Magdelaine Laframboise, the Harbour View Inn has grown into the stately hotel it is today. Over the years, three buildings have joined the original Chateau, creating what has become one of Mackinac Island’s preferred accommodations. Stay in the Guest House, Carriage House, Chateau or the historic Cottage House; all featuring a variety of room types and views to suit your style and needs.

Our spacious studio-style Deluxe Suites are furnished with one or two beds in the bedroom and offer a separate sitting room with a sofa sleeper and access to a shared balcony or patio.

Located in the Chateau, Carriage and Cottage Houses featuring a king bed with a walk out patio or balcony overlooking the newly renovated grounds and gardens. Some of these rooms are located on the ground level or have elevator access while some of them are stair access only.
